Today, we’re excited to announce new features to drive enterprise-wide Copilot adoption, including the general availability of the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard and Microsoft Copilot Academy, both powered by Viva, available to all Copilot for Microsoft 365 customers.
Microsoft Copilot Dashboard: Now Generally Available
The Microsoft Copilot Dashboard offers business leaders privacy-protected insights across each stage of their AI transformation. Initially introduced at Microsoft Ignite, this enhanced release now combines Copilot usage metrics with organizational context, allowing leaders to track adoption and understand its impact. You can filter insights by departments, teams, or roles, comparing users and non-users of Copilot. Viva Insights customers can use the analyst workbench to create custom reports, integrating data from other relevant sources.
Starting in Q3 2024, the Copilot Dashboard will be available to all Copilot for Microsoft 365 customers at no additional cost, without requiring a Viva license. You’ll be able to access it in the Viva Insights app in Microsoft Teams or via the web. Additionally, Copilot for Microsoft 365 customers can access all Viva Insights, including advanced insights and manager tools, through a limited-time promotional offer.
Equip Employees with AI Skills through Copilot Academy
Our Work Trend Index reveals that 82% of leaders believe their employees need new skills to thrive in an AI-driven workplace. That’s why we’re introducing the Microsoft Copilot Academy — a centralized platform to empower employees with essential Copilot skills. Available in Viva Learning, the Copilot Academy offers curated learning paths created by Microsoft experts, covering everything from introductory AI content to Copilot-specific guidance like using Copilot in Outlook to summarize email threads.
Starting in Q3 2024, Copilot Academy will be available to all Copilot for Microsoft 365 customers at no extra cost. As part of Viva Learning, it’s preloaded and requires no setup, making it simple for employees to access, discover, and share learning content within the Microsoft 365 tools they already use.
Boost Copilot Adoption with Viva Amplify and Viva Engage
Effective change management includes clear communication, and Viva Amplify helps you spread the word about AI tools like Copilot. With the new Copilot Deployment Kit, your team can use pre-built templates, guides, videos, and more to launch communication campaigns, educating employees on how Copilot can benefit them. Viva Amplify also provides analytics to track engagement and refine your messaging.
Viva Engage further supports adoption by fostering leadership communications and AI champions within your organization. A new feature in Viva Engage enables admins to create a custom Copilot community with one click, launching conversation starters and community resources to keep AI discussions relevant.
Track AI Readiness and Impact with New Insights
To ensure the success of your AI transformation, it’s essential to continuously gather feedback. The Microsoft Copilot Impact surveys, available through Viva Glint and Viva Pulse, allow you to measure employee sentiment on how Copilot is influencing their work. These insights integrate with the Copilot Dashboard, offering leaders a unified view of adoption, productivity, and impact.
